I create to lift people up and, hopefully, to remind you that joy, passion, and meaning are never out of reach… and that the real magic has been inside you all along.
Hi, I’m Rachelle, though when I’m creating, I go by R.A. Shell. I’m a writer, a maker, and a big believer in the magic of the mind.
When I’m not creating, I’m soaking up life with my son Alex and our tiny maltipoo, Pippin. Most days, you’ll find us exploring mountain trails, relaxing by the river near our forest home, diving into middle-grade fantasy books, jet-setting to explore new countries, getting our hands messy with pottery, or zipping off on our electric motorcycle in search of the perfect picnic spot.

Alex and I are completely over the moon for Switzerland. Towering mountains with playgrounds perched at the top, storybook houses adorned with flower boxes and the fact that you can travel the whole country by train? Absolute magic.
Favorite Pastime:
There is nothing like chasing sunlight to the summit on Pixie, our trusty e-dirt bike. Especially with Pippin riding shotgun in his pup pack, ears flapping like tiny flags of joy. Its like a little bit of fairy dust on two wheels.
Favorite Character
Winnie the Pooh - always present, always grateful, and endlessly joyful over the little things. Life doesn’t have to be complicated to be sweet. His gentle spirit is a constant reminder to slow down, appreciate the now, and find magic in the everyday.
